VTA SERVICES RESTORATION WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency is restarting routing services to reconnect traveling passengers in South Bay. The VTA service agency will partner with MST (Monterey-Salinas Transit) agency to connect passengers between Santa Clara County and Monterey County. The partnership transit services will be operated by MST agency, and transporting passengers with four roundtrip services during weekdays. The VTA/MST partnership transit services will also share allocating funding to make it happen in South Bay. The identified transit service between Santa Clara County and Monterey County was discontinued because of therein pandemic. The restoration of thereby transit services will provide traveling passengers more options in South Bay.
