The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) transit agency in South Bay is campaigning to stop harassment on public transportation in the Bay Area. The VTA services agency is focusing on their core values of safety and security for all passengers, and sharing "Do's and Don'ts" approaching elements to help traveling passengers. The VTA personnel is sharing information about stopping harassment on the agency website, and how to report thereby harassment behaviors. Including tools for passengers to use and stopping harassment behaviors when waiting at transit locations, and therein same tools can be used by VTA employees to stop harassment. The harassment behaviors can happen anywhere and anytime by some people including passengers onboard transit vehicles, trains, and ferry service vessels.
