WALKING TO SCHOOL TRANSPORTATION FORMULA IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Some of local school students and parents started walking to school today in a form of transportation honoring the National Walk To School Day within the Bay Area. The annual National Walk To School Day is observed on the first Wednesday of October every calendar year. The goal is for people to exercise on the way to school and enjoying the weather, helping save the natural environment and living a healthy life. Many local San Francisco Bay Area students, parents, and communities started walking to school today. Approximately 76 San Francisco public schools participated and observed therein national day as the annual "Walk & Roll To School Day."
