The WestCAT provides transit services within western Contra Costa neighboring communities, and offering a program to help paratransit riders. The transit agency have a LIFE (Low-Income Fare Equity) Program to help paratransit riders, and offering free rides for eligible passengers. The eligible paratransit riders for therein LIFE Program will get 10 oneway tickets per month to use for traveling. The passengers for therein program have to meet thereby low-income status to become eligible. The WestCAT agency partners with CCTA (Contra Costa Transportation Authority) to make therein program happen, and the program funding is by thereby Measure X countywide funds.
