The WestCAT (Western Contra Costa Transit Authority) services agency in East Bay is changing their transit schedules effective Saturday, November 30, 2024. The WestCAT agency provides public transit services within neighboring communities at western Contra Costa County, and aligned with JPA (Joint Powers Authority) state legislative statutes. The transit agency provides transbay services across the Bay Area, and paratransit services for ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) traveling passengers. Including local public transit services with fixed routes for express services, and transbay express bus routes within jurisdictional service areas. The identified new schedules for WestCAT will impact some local routing times for transit services on weekdays and weekends.
