The WestCAT local transit service operates within thereby JPA (Joint Powers Authority) state governance infrastructure provisional standards. The transit agency provides transporting services within western neighboring communities in Contra Costa County, and local ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) paratransit services. The WestCAT transit agency offers free rides for paratransit passengers who are eligible under thereby LIFE (Low-Income Fare Equity) Program. It's an equitable local services program for WestCAT paratransit traveling passengers countywide.
