The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) services agency in West Bay is improving their communication connections with passengers. The WETA is launching their San Francisco Bay Ferry App to help passengers get real-time ferry schedules. The WETA commuting passengers can download thereby app on their iPhones and will be available for Android devices soon. The passengers will get mobile updated information on rider alerts and/or transit services routing changes. Including real-time for ferry departures and/or arrivals at local stations, and current ferry vessel routing locations in the Bay Area. The WETA admin is phasing out therein Bay Alerts platform to have a better way of connecting with ferry passengers.
