WETA PARTNERSHIP SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) services agency in West Bay is partnering with Bay Area agencies to offer water shuttling services. The WETA is partnering with ATMA (Alameda Transportation Management Association), and Port of Oakland to offer therein new water transit services. The identified partnership agencies continues to provide thereby OAWS (Oakland Alameda Water Shuttle) transit services pilot project for passengers. The WETA partnering agencies launched therein OAWS pilot project services on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and through thereby public-private partnership funding to make it happen. The OAWS transit service is free for traveling passengers and offering another optional type of transportation on water in the Bay Area.
