The VTA services agency is transporting passengers for free to and/or from local warming centers in Santa Clara County, and helping passengers with thereby cold weather conditions during morning hours. The VTA free rides for passengers to and/or from warming centers will continue until Saturday, February 15, 2025 in South Bay. The weather conditions have been cold during morning hours in Santa Clara County and the Bay Area, as well as raining weather and making it tough for traveling passengers. The VTA transit agency is helping passengers by offering therein free rides to warming centers countywide. The public libraries in Santa Clara County is identified to become Warming Centers, and other Community Centers to help passengers stay warm during thereby cold weather conditions - visit www.vta.org for more information and/or schedules update.
