The transportation authority of SF, will soon public laws against self-driving cars

In San Francisco, the self-driving cars of Uber will soon need to obtain permits if they want to drive on the streets of the city.

The transportation authority of San Francisco has supported the new bill which empowers the laws against the self-driving cars on Tuesday. The new law demands proper permits for self-driving cars that will run on the streets of SF.

The authority resolution states “It has been well-documented that the scantily regulated Transportation Network Company (TNC) vehicles and ‘autonomous’ or ‘self-driving’ vehicles pose serious safety threats to the general public”.

According to Assembly Bill87, Phil Ting the authorized assembly member of D-San Francisco has three-pronged to codify the new motor’s actions and put registration on the scofflaw for self-driving cars.

As per the reports by SF examiner, the new bill would allow the DMV to fine those companies $25, 000 on each vehicle. The bill will ban all those self-driving cars which run without permits on the road.

This bill is reported to help those cities weigh which used to believe in safe driving. This law would put a stick of law on the head of those companies which used to ignore the official guidelines.

The resolution states “sends a clear message to TNCs that there are consequences for operating outside of the law.”
