SCCRTC PROJECT COMPLETION IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) services agency in South Bay is completing their local bicycle riders and pedestrians project. The SCCRTC planning agency is celebrating their Chanticleer Bicycle and Pedestrian Overcrossing local project on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Including a ribbon cutting ceremony event to celebrate thereby opening of their successful project to help local bicycle riders and pedestrians. The SCCRTC improvement project started construction during 2023 and with successful completion during 2025. The overcrossing project at Chanticleer Avenue will help local bicycle riders, and pedestrians make better connections with transit locations. Including auxiliary lanes for local regional transit bus services and improving traffic on Highway 1, and safely protecting local bicycle riders and pedestrians.
