SCCRTC PROJECT FUNDING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) services agency in South Bay successfully received thereby $19.5 million project funding. The SCCRTC was awarded thereby federal funding from USDOT (U.S. Department of Transportation) to support therein Coastal Rail Trail local project in Santa Cruz County. The city and county governmental infrastructure department agencies will work closely, and to ensure thereby project segments are completed accordingly. The identified coastal project will improve safety elements for bicycle riders and pedestrians in South Bay, as well as accessibility to more available resources for local communities. Including better access for local employees traveling to work everyday, and increasing access to recreation and housing countywide.
