The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) transit agency is changing services in North Bay effective Sunday, June 14, 2020. The Golden Gate Transit is adjusting and/or cancelling some services to accommodate passengers based on ridership levels.

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency is restoring evening services for all evening service bus lines in East Bay. Including restoration of all overnight transit service hours for AC transit bus lines in the Bay Area, as well as transbay services for overnight essential workers.

The Caltrain transit agency board approves 50% discount for low-income train riders in West Bay within San Francisco Bay Area. The discount approval is aligned with therein usage of Clipper cards when traveling by Caltrain in the Bay Area.

BART USING CLIPPER CARDS ONLY IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency announced effective Monday, June 8, 2020, other stations will use Clipper cards only to get on trains within San Francisco Bay Area. The BART agency is expanding their advocacy for passengers to use Clipper cards only to pay without paper tickets.

SFMTA BIKING IMPROVEMENT WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) data shows 14% improvement for passengers in West Bay riding their bicycles within The City. The SFMTA data was comparative to last year's bicycle riding information at 37 locations during morning and evening traffic commuting hours.
