SAN FRANCISCO SFMTA CONSIDERING MORE SAFETY IMPROVEMENT IN BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is considering more safety improvement projects for local pedestrian safety. During the past month, a 90 year old senior was going on his daily activities and was struck and killed by a car on Fell and Baker crosswalk streets.

AEROMEXICO DIRECT FLIGHTS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The Aeromexico Airlines launches new direct flights to SJC (Mineta San Jose International Airport) between Mexico City and San Jose, California. The airlines announcement identifies service will begin next year during Summertime season and therein routing represents third nonstop to Mexico.

CALIFORNIA SELF-DRIVING CAR POLICIES WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The state DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) shared new revised regulated policies for self-driving cars in San Francisco Bay Area and statewide. The new revised DMV regulations would allow autonomous vehicles to operate on state roadways as long as applicable with federal safety standards.

USPS SELF-DRIVING DELIVERY TRUCKS IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The USPS (U.S. Postal Service) announced having semiautonomous trucks for mail delivery within seven years to help with operational costing impact. The USPS is hoping to automate its delivery system by adding self-driving autonomous trucks to its fleet by 2025 nationwide.
