SAN FRANCISCO IS SEEKING FUNDING FOR LOCAL TRANSPORTATION
The City of San Francisco is seeking federal funding for local networking transportation system that is environmentally safe for pedestrians and bicyclists. San Francisco, California is competing against Austin, Texas; Portland, Oregon; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Columbus, Ohio; Denver, Colorado; and Kansas City, Missouri throughout the nation. The appropriated federal funding from U.S. Department of Transportation will provide self-driving cars, including services within an autonomous networking transportation system.
