A lawsuit has been filed against AC (Alameda Contra Costa) Transit District for allegation of discrimination with an employee. The AC transit employee, Nikki McNaulty, alleges the company didn't accommodate her needs appropriately during her pregnancy at therein working environment. The lawsuit complaint indicates that AC transit agency didn't provide adequate lactation space for the employee during her two pregnancy status. The AC transit employee lawyer, Felicia Medina, alleges it violates California Fair Employment and Housing Act. Because the employee couldn't obtain appropriate working conditions and went on unpaid leave for three months. The lawsuit indicates, therein employee requested part-time work thereafter her second child was born and was denied by AC transit agency. The employee was reassigned to an office working position to make it easier and not driving the transit bus.
