The SamTrans transit agency is partnering with SMCOE (San Mateo County Office of Education) to promote educational arts on transit buses. The 15th Annual "Art Takes a Bus Ride" contest is in place throughout San Mateo County until Friday, April 5, 2019. The arts contest theme this year is "The Power Of SamTrans" and therein contest is open from first to twelfth grade students - one contestant will be selected from each grade. The winner will have his/her artistic display as a wrap around SamTrans transit bus for the whole year, and inside the bus on a marketing ad cardboard. The schools in San Mateo County will promote therein arts contest for competitors to submit their arts display by the due date for consideration - visit www.samtrans.com for more information.
