The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is offering opportunities for laid-off Chariot drivers. Because the Chariot company is going out of business and laying off all drivers shuttling passengers within San Francisco Bay Area. The SFMTA transit agency is offering laid-off drivers a chance to drive muni buses in San Francisco because SFMTA needs more drivers. The SFMTA administration is providing a training program for to accelerate the transitioning process for laid-off Chariot drivers. The training program is called CityDrive to offer laid-off drivers and/or local city residents more muni driving opportunities. The SFMTA transit agency is hoping therein training program will expedite the transitional phase into positive results for driving operators.
