EXTENDING SLOW STREETS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA
The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is rolling out more Slow Streets in San Francisco to help local residents and business communities in West Bay. The SFMTA Slow Streets Program is to provide physical distancing for people in The City during the COVID-19 health pandemic. Including ways to share spaces for people using bicycles and scooters for traveling to work without using muni buses and/or personal cars. Because the SFMTA Slow Streets Program is showing 80% supportive by local residents and business communities to avoid vehicle traffic congestion.
