The San Francisco Muni transportation system is changing it's way of issuing transfers for passengers after paying their fares. The current Muni fare boxing system has been installed since 1991 and manufacturing companies don't provide some parts and needs upgrading. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (MTA) Board of Directors approved the new system process for a replacement system. The current Muni system may be dissolved during 2016 when the new system is in place accordingly, and passengers will be informed and provide assistance with how the new system operates.

A person was hit by San Francisco Bay Area BART this afternoon and pronounced dead after jumping on the rail tracking system around 1:25 PM. The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station on Embarcadero in San Francisco was closed down because of the incident, and BART with fire department officials said it appears to be a suicidal attempt. The person was hit by a train going to Dublin/Pleasanton and the BART station is closed down for an investigation.

As transportation funding for state roadways and highways continue to decrease for improvement projects throughout the State of California, Caltrans have issued traffic advisory for more road closures because of roadway projects. The state routing roadway 128 within Sonoma County is scheduled to close today at 11 PM - 5 AM until Thursday, for a retaining wall project and will close again on Sunday, August 30 to Thursday, September 3. No work is scheduled over Labor Day holiday weekend and scheduled to close again on Tuesday, September 8 to Thursday, September 10, 2015.

Vehicular traffic in San Francisco Bay Area continues to get worse, and upgrading metering lights at Bay Bridge maybe part of the solution. The California Governor Jerry Brown and State Assembly Speaker Tonie Atkins attended a news conference in Oakland on Wednesday, and talked about state transportation fixtures including highways and roadway repairs.

As we posted recently about incomplete State of California transportation projects because of limited funding from the state and federal. The California Governor Jerry Brown shares his concerns with transportation infrastructure, regarding funding needs for highways and roadway repairs in San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the state. He is encouraging state legislators to pass a legislative bill to have transportation funds available for ongoing highways and roadway improvement projects.

The District Attorney's Office in San Francisco is critically concerned about passenger's safety and well-being while traveling in Uber and other ridesharing cars. The San Francisco District Attorney is working closely with Los Angeles District Attorney, California, to ensure passengers are safe using Uber and other ridesharing cars. These two District Attorney (DA) offices in State of California feels very strong about transportation issues including passenger's safety and well-being while traveling on state highways and roadways.

Profiling by ethnic races can become ongoing issues regardless of reporting wrongful behaviors by every human beings regarding a mobile app for it's purpose. Every human being on the face of our mother nature's land provided for us to live on it peacefully will always have problems. Because every human being do things differently and some will behave inappropriately and break laws of the land, and some will behave appropriately and obey laws of the land.

Transporting kids to and from local schools can become a challenge for parents and school administration for San Francisco Bay Area. Some local schools in San Francisco Bay Area are back in session yesterday on Monday, and some schools are looking at "safety for kids" as number one priority. San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is working closely with local agencies to ensure school kids are safe, and hired more crossing guards personnel to assist kids while crossing streets.

Many passengers at SFO were upset about their flight delays and especially passengers going back to school from summer vacations. Flight delays and cancellations from the East and North Eastern airports into SFO (San Francisco International Airport) was because of a computer glitch at air traffic control center in Leesburg, Virginia. Many passengers tweeted and sent Facebook messages to contact people regarding their delays and cancellations at SFO.

Transportation projects in San Francisco Bay Area and throughout the State of California needs funding from state and federal allocations to finish ongoing improvement projects. The State of California legislators are back in session this week and looking at possible tax increases, for state funding to help finish transportation projects throughout the state. The federal funding for assistance is delayed and will not be part of any discussions sooner until October, including state funding delays for transportation projects as necessary.
