The city completes it's public parking census determination to evaluate the parking permits and accessible parking for people in San Francisco, especially when SFMTA board approved free parking on Sundays for people. This issue raised some problems with environmental development within San Francisco, and this evaluation provides assistance with public parking management as necessary.

The muni light rail train hit a pedestrian at Sunset District and pedestrian was transported to San Francisco General Hospital for life threatening injuries, and police officers were directing traffic with alternate routes during the incident. Some alternative transportation was provided by some shuttle buses until updates are in place accordingly, and hopefully safety issues in Sunset District will be resolved with more safety measures.

The SFMTA board has approved taxi infrastructure advertisements on muni buses and providing support for development, and as a third-party application starting in June for a competitive effort in communities. The approach is an effort to compete with other transportation resources i.e. Uber, Lyft, etc. in a taxi style format, with different operational styles providing optional transportation for people in San Francisco.

The favorite zig-zag road in San Francisco on Lombard Street may not be open for tourism drivers during this summer, if SFMTA approves temporary closure for safety measures for improvement. The proposed temporary closure is due to tourism accidents and injuries in past years, and hoping proposal closure will provide safety improvements and providing tourists more safety ways and means of support while visiting San Francisco. The residents can still drive and use the street during temporary closure, and SFMTA will consider this proposal during their business meeting tomorrow.

The SFO warehouse manager and police officers including local bomb squad was called to San Francisco International Airport last Saturday, because of a warehouse package shipment was not recognized as appropriately processed as identified items for shipping. The shipment identified package was appropriately labeled and it appears to be non-explosive or harmful items in the package, after investigation was completed the warehouse area was cleared and safe for regular operation.

The peninsula area of transportation is coordinating activities for more active participants, especially in East Palo Alto and Hillsdale neighborhood area in San Mateo. These activities will include crossover walking and biking trailways for people to walk and/or ride bicycles as part of the transportation infrastructure, and may take enforcement due to some people using bus/shuttle stop locations as a "hang-out space" to smoke and drinking alcohol.

The parking meter fees in San Francisco during Sunday hours for city parking is raising controversy, and activists filed an appeal for Board of Supervisors to reverse SFMTA's decision and enforce meter payments for Sunday parking in San Francisco. Activists appeal is based on state environmental legislation and with hopes local elected officials will enforce parking meter payments for Sundays, and therefore aligned with state environmental laws because SFMTA fails to consider local environmental control during their decision making process.

The public transportation in San Francisco is undergoing some means of exploring new reconfiguration train cars, as part of a pilot project to test them for capacity building and reliability for people. A number of few local public officials have taken part in riding these testing train cars and received feedback from public input, and sharing how they feel about new reconfiguration train cars. Also, looking at ways to comprise seating areas for disabled and/or handicapped people on these new train cars, with hopes for support of ballot measures in upcoming elections.

The San Francisco Board of Supervisors adopted and introduced $500 million ballot measure for November elections, and hoping to gain support from San Francisco residents to pass identified bond measure for transportation improvement. The local public transportation system has been under-provided with minimal improvements and lack financial support for needed improvements, and local legislative officials are asking residents for support during upcoming local election.

The San Francisco Department of Public Health shared warning information about people traveling to and from Middle Eastern countries, to be aware of a new virus disease called Coronavirus spreading in other countries including United States of America. Some of identified symptoms can be fever, coughing, as well as shortening of breath, and advising people to wash their hands more often before eating.
