The major airports in San Francisco Bay Area is showing more air traveling passengers than previous years. The reporting data showing SFO (San Francisco International Airport) served more than 53.1 million passengers during 2016 with 10% increase, OAK (Oakland International Airport) served more than 12 million passengers with 7.7% increase, and SJC (San Jose International Airport) served more than 10.8 million passengers with 10.2% increase. The SFO officials mentioned adding 3 United Airlines new international destinations with new international airlines. The continued growth in OAK airport is credited to additional new domestic and international airline routes during 2016. The SJC growth is based on new additional international flights and expecting passengers increase to continue this year.
