BART HIRING POLICE OFFICERS FOR SAFETY WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) Police Department is hiring more officers to ensure passengers are safe on trains and local stations. The new BART Police Department academy graduates and experienced police officers will receive $10,000 as a hiring bonus as part of the streamlining process. The BART Police Chief is using therein bonus to encourage potential interest from diversity communities to apply, and become part of the new strategy to increase police presence. Including more police officers on trains and BART stations for crime prevention as well as protecting passengers on trains for safety traveling.
