GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE PARKING CLOSURE IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The southern parking lots of Golden Gate Bridge will be closed on Saturday, August 26, 2017 and advising people to use alternative parking. The Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District announced therein closure because of upcoming First Amendment rally event at Crissy Field in San Francisco this coming weekend. The public safety effort along with CHP (California Highway Patrol) and NPS (National Park Services) will be patrolling the areas. Including local Police Officers units to ensure public safety within San Francisco Bay Area during the permitted local event. The traffic along Golden Gate Bridge and local highways are expected to be very congested including local roadways in San Francisco. The CHP and NPS agencies are planning to close several streets leading into the Golden Gate Bridge, and restrictions for the Vista Point parking lot form 11 AM to 5 PM - visit www.nps.gov/goga for more information.
