The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) is donating community transit buses in South Bay to the Homeless Veterans Emergency Facility in San Francisco Bay Area. It's part of the commitment VTA has provided for all communities thereafter sharing partnership with local communities. The veterans facility staffing presented VTA with the need of transportation and VTA is able to help with a vehicle donation. The VTA usually auction therein buses and decided to donate community buses for veterans transportation needs at this time. It's an innovative approach to address local community needs and more future collaboration is anticipated in the future. The VTA donation buses can fit 25 passengers for each vehicle and could be restructured to have wheel chairs accessibility.
