The raging fires through Napa Valley Wine Country have caused roadway closures for winery accessible roads and impacting Napa, Sonoma, and Yuba Counties. The roadway closures are Highway 101, 29, 121, and 128 because of fire damages and ground transportation is prohibited for cars, and CHP (California Highway Patrol) will monitor some roadways for accessibility in the process. The Kaiser and Sutter Hospitals were evacuated and established 3 evacuation centers at Crosswalk Community Church, Napa County Fairgrounds, and Napa Valley Community College. The California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection have estimated 20,000 people have been evacuated along with a number of missing residents. The California Governor Jerry Brown issued a state of emergency because of wildfires burning within Napa Valley Wine Country.
