VOTERS APPROVAL FOR BRIDGE TOLL INCREASE IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The bridge tolls within San Francisco Bay Area will increase $3 when voters approve therein ballot measure in upcoming elections in 2018. Because the State of California Gov. Jerry Brown signed into law SB595 (Senate Bill 595) for the process, to transparently give people an opportunity to share how they feel about raising toll fees. However, the Golden Gate Bridge toll fees will not be affected because it's a different procedural process. The voters within 9 Bay Area counties will decide if bridge tolls should increase $3 or not. Including a BART Inspector General staffing to oversee the funding allocation and expenditures accordingly. The transportation measure will raise $4.45 billion for local transit and highway improvement projects.
