BART NEW CARS PASS SAFETY TESTING IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) system has been testing new train cars for safety reasoning and successfully passed transporting safety elements. The BART administration is aiming at starting to transport passengers during the holiday season and/or around Thanksgiving. The 10 new train cars fleet have been rigorously going through safety testing before transporting passengers and become fully operational. It passed and completed a full checklist of safety elements and requirements over the weekend with documentation to submit. The BART and manufacturer are working on documents for CPUC (California Public Utility Commission) and approval of the new train cars operation. The most passengers will have a chance to ride on new train cars during 2018 when more new cars are expected to arrive.

"The first 10 cars are ready to go and just getting the paperwork for approval, everything is getting lined up for commuters," said John Garnham, BART Project Manager. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
