The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) new fleet train cars are on the way and first new train hits San Francisco streets this Friday morning. The SFMTA had a ribbon-cutting ceremony along with local community leaders and legislators for new train services. The first train car was decorated and going into services with honor and dedication to activist and transporting union leader Larry Martin. The SFMTA rolling out its new trains ahead of schedule and will increase the fleet by 68 train cars and eventually replace the old train cars. Therein state-of-the-art new trains are designed with more internal space and comfortable. Including new seating configuration to provide more internal capacity with reliable services and improving service frequency.
