NEW FARE MACHINES ON MUNI BUSES WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) completely installed all muni buses with new fare machines for passengers. The new official fare machines will make it easier and smarter for passengers and operators/drivers during routing trips everyday in San Francisco. The new machines will print transaction details on tickets for passengers, and will keep track of fare payments for SFMTA transit accountability. The SFMTA officials are sharing therein new method of payment tracking is more secured and prevention from theft of muni transfers. It will also help keep muni operators/drivers safe and will not be involved in exchanging transfer tickets with passengers. Because the new fare machines will automatically do the work for them during the transaction process for passengers.
