The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is getting ready to finish the pre-construction phase of Twin Peaks Tunnel Improvement Project. The tunnel construction team will work on weekends for preparatory work and some stations will be closed earlier as necessary. The weekend early closures will begin late Friday, March 16, 2018 to Sunday, March 18, 2018 for the continuing 14 weekends to complete work inside Twin Peaks Tunnel. It will impact Forest Hill and West Portal stations and Castro Station will remain open for trains including a terminal for bus shuttles.
