The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) is planning to open the third commuter lane at the Richmond-San Rafael bridge on Friday, April 20, 2018. The booming economy in San Francisco Bay Area has been putting more cars on freeways and roadways, with hopes therein new commuter lane will help with traffic congestion. There will be digital traffic control signals on top of the new commuter lane for drivers to obey while using the lane. Including cameras to capture violating drivers on the bridge and CHP (California Highway Patrol) officers will issue citations for violators. The speed limit may change from 55 mph to 50 mph and Caltrans will have working space available for ongoing maintenance.
"We think it will relief traffic backups on Highway 580 and Highway 101 as well as making a difference," said Dianne Steinhauser, Executive Director, TAM (Transportation Authority of Marin). #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
