OPPOSING PROPOSITION FOR TRANSPORTATION WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) and local transit agencies in San Francisco Bay Area are opposing Proposition-6 for upcoming election. Because the proposition would repeal a state gas tax increase to generate funding revenues for transportation improvement projects. The California state legislatures ratified SB1 (Senate Bill-1) in 2017 and enacted approval for SB1 funding allocation. The SB1 funding revenues will be cancelled if therein proposition is approved by voters in upcoming election. Including $200 million allocation for local roadway pothole repairs along with other transportation improvement projects. The MTC administration is partnering with local governments and coalition agencies to oppose Proposition-6 and save funding for transportation projects.

"The stakes are high and threatening SB1 funding would jeopardize almost half of local government streets and roadways," said Randy Rentschler, MTC Director of Legislation and Public Affairs. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
