The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is making more services adjustment effective today on Monday, April 6, 2020 because of significant low ridership. The SFMTA muni bus services will try to maintain normal services and/or prioritizing to transport passengers for essential services only in West Bay. The SFMTA administration will continue to encourage passengers on entering muni buses from the rear-boarding process. To protect muni bus drivers/operators from COVID-19 and recommends distancing for passengers onboard the muni bus. The transit agency is limiting muni bus services because of the COVID-19 health crisis and protecting drivers/operators along with SFMTA personnel.
