The SamTrans transit agency cancels their annual artwork contest because of therein COVID-19 health crisis and art will not take a bus ride this year in West Bay. The SamTrans artwork contest every year is co-sponsored by San Mateo County Office of Education with an opportunity for artistic students. The transit agency contestants this year has been very low because of therein COVID-19 health pandemic and decided to cancel this year. The annual arts contest has been very popular with many contestants every year considering an opportunity for artistic students. The winners are selected and post his/her artwork on the SamTrans transit bus going around West Bay regional areas - art takes a bus ride! Unfortunately, therein arts contest have to be cancelled this year and will resume next year with new artistic ideas for students in the Bay Area.
