WETA INCREASING FERRY SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The WETA (Water Emergency Transportation Authority) transit agency is increasing ferry services in San Francisco Bay Area effective today on Monday, June 15, 2020. Including the Passengers and Crew Safety Plan in place for protection and avoid the spread of therein COVID-19 virus. The WETA Safety Plan involves six points of protection elements with enhanced cleaning, social distancing, face coverings, hand sanitizer, healthy crews, and touchless payments. The WETA ferry services to Richmond and Vallejo will be in place accordingly with therein Safety Plan to protect passengers and ferry crews. The ferry service routes were suspended on March 17, 2020 because of therein COVID-19 and Shelter-In-Place orders within San Francisco Bay Area.
