The SFMTA parking meter fees will have discounting rates depending on the area with parking demands for residents and businesses. The parking meter fees have been suspended because of the COVID-19 health pandemic and SFMTA was loosing a major part of operational revenues. The return of parking meter fees will hopefully pickup the pace with some financial recovery, and funding initiatives will certainly help with assistance from the state and federal agencies.
