BART TRACK REPLACEMENT WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) agency is closing tracks at Bay Fair and South Hayward stations in East Bay for repairs. The BART improvement project repairs will happen over Labor Day weekend starting Saturday, September 5, 2020 and transit buses will be available to transport passengers between therein closing station locations. The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) transit agency will provide free bus rides for passengers during the closing weekend for BART repairs in East Bay. The BART trains will operate during the Sunday schedules on Labor Day holiday and station parking fees will not be enforced. The BART repair crews will replace train tracks for safety reasoning and rebuild interlocking components for trains, to safely crossover without problems on trackway systems.
