HIGHWAY 880 EXPRESS LANES OPEN IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The MTC (Metropolitan Transportation Commission) agency announced Highway 880 Express Lanes will open effective Friday, October 2, 2020. The Highway 880 Express Lanes will operate from 5 AM to 8 PM during weekdays and toll fees will increase when traffic is heavy, and will decrease when vehicular traffic is low. The vehicle toll fees will show on therein Express Lanes digital signs for drivers to see, and drivers will pay the toll fees amount when entering the Express Lanes. The vehicles traveling on highway Express Lanes must have a FasTrak toll tag device and drivers can visit www.511.org for more information. The vehicles traveling on therein Express Lanes with three or more people can travel toll-free, as well as motorcycles, carpools, vanpools, and chartering buses - visit www.mtc.ca.gov for more information.
