SFMTA EXTENDING PERMITS WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) transit agency in West Bay is extending the Shared Spaces Program permits. The operating permits for Shared Spaces Program was due to expire by December 2020 and maybe extended until June 30, 2021. The SFMTA schedules to send a message to Curbside Lane Permit holders to renew, change, and/or extend the current permit. The Shared Spaces Program permits may become permanent because of the successful effort for San Francisco's economic recovery. The program allows local city businesses to use sidewalks for operation including partial streets, and/or parking lots for item pickups. It's the collaborative approach for city businesses aligned with ERTF (Economic Recovery Task Force) recommendations for San Francisco to economically move forward - visit www.sfmta.com for more information and program permits updates.
