AC TRANSIT RESTORATION PLAN WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The AC Transit (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) services agency in East Bay is launching their Services Restoration & Expansion Plan on Sunday, August 8, 2021. The AC Transit will reopen service routes to schools and local business communities when things are starting to open in the Bay Area. The transit services agency plans to restore and expand service routes when necessary with ridership is slowly increasing. The AC Transit agency will continue to mobilize services in East Bay aligned with infrastructure elements to make it better for commuting passengers. The plan includes repairs and/or improving existing transit routes to make it better, and committed to restoring back-to-school service routes to help students.
