GOLDEN GATE TRANSIT SYSTEM WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The GGBHTD (Golden Gate Bridge Highway & Transportation District) services agency in North Bay is renumbering their transit bus fleet. The GGBHTD transit agency will use therein New Route Numbering System effective Sunday, December 12, 2021 with three digit numbers on transit fleet buses. The new numbering system will make it easier for passengers to identify Golden Gate Transit routes, and not confusing them with other Bay Area transit management systems. The transit agency is currently operating with therein two digit numbering system, and will update it to have three digit numbers identifying all routes. The GGBHTD staffing will share therein new numbering system changes with commuting passengers using technology contacting information and/or posting notice at bus stops on the week of November 4, 2021 - visit www.goldengate.org for more information and/or numbering system updates.
