AC TRANSIT BRT SERVICES WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The AC (Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District) agency is planning to launch BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) services in East Bay during this summertime. The AC transit agency released safety guidelines for motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists during BRT transit activities in 34 stations. The BRT services will use electric coach buses to decrease emissions along service lines and Bay Area local communities. Including bus only lanes for BRT services effectiveness and avoiding traffic delays for transporting services in East Bay. The BRT services boarding stations will be easier for passengers with loading platforms and easier for passengers traveling with bikes. The BRT service stations will have enhanced security and visibility lighting for safety, and high visibility crosswalks for pedestrians safety - visit www.actransit.org for more information and upgrades.
