BACK TO SCHOOL TRANSIT SAFETY WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The local schools are back in session within San Francisco Bay Area and transit agencies are advocating for safety protecting our children. The local Bay Area transit agencies are displaying "Drive Safe" digital signs on transit signals along with other safety digital signs. Other transit agencies are changing bus routes and making it easier for children returning back to school. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) is adding more muni transit bus services and discount fees for school youth. Including safety tips for parents and children to ensure school children are safely traveling to school with affordable bus rates. The SFMTA is working closely with SFPD (San Francisco Police Department) and local agencies to ensure the safety of children.
