The Caltrans (California Department of Transportation) is partnering with a South Bay agency for the Highway 1 improvement project. The Caltrans is partnering with SCCRTC (Santa Cruz County Regional Transportation Commission) agency for therein project to ease traffic congestion in South Bay. The improvement project partnership agencies provided an online open house for public review, and requesting public feedback by 5 PM on Monday, October 19, 2020. The project will include widening traffic lanes, bicyclists and pedestrians pathways, and traffic lane features to support local transit operations.
