FREE BICYCLIST TRAINING WITHIN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The VTA (Valley Transportation Authority) and Public Health Department in Santa Clara County is offering free training for bicyclists - Smart Cycling Training. The partnership agencies are offering therein training for bicyclists to become familiar with laws aligned with riding bicycles on public roads. To avoid any possible accidents and/or become more safe on public roads because of lawful roadway rules and regulations. The Smart Cycling Training will provide bicyclists more techniques and tools for awareness and becoming safety on public roads. Because sharing roadways with cars can become tough and unsafe for bicyclists, and many bicyclists don't know protective laws for themselves. Some people are saying, "bicyclists ride their bikes on sidewalks and it's unsafe for pedestrians on sidewalks." The bicyclist training in-class sessions will begin next month on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 - please visit www.vta.org for more information and scheduling dates.
