NEW BART TRAINS NOT READY FOR SERVICES IN SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

The new BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) trains are not ready for services in San Francisco Bay Area during Thanksgiving Day. The BART administration was hoping to have new trains prepared and ready for services on Thanksgiving, and unfortunately it failed a safety inspection test. The CPUC (California Public Utilities Commission) provides safety inspection for public transit trains before it operates to transport passengers. The BART new trains failed therein CPUC safety inspection earlier this month and delaying trains from operating. The BART Assistant General Manager, Paul Oversier, informed the board about the safety inspection matter and status during a board meeting for reference. The safety problem was surfacing during the first testing session with passengers onboard a 10 car pilot testing project. The CPUC inspectors will run another safety testing drive when repairs are made and BART is hoping to have new trains operating sometime next month.

"BART is going through the CPUC list and responding accordingly to their questions and inspectors will ride another test drive for safety reasoning," said Jim Allison, BART Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
