The Southwest Airlines is OAK's largest airline carrier from San Francisco East Bay regional commercial airport with four additional flights. The OAK Airport is second busiest in San Francisco Bay Area with thirteen airline carriers and with new international flights help with record numbers. More than 12 million passengers report flights to and from OAK Airport showing 7.7% increase of traveling passengers. The OAK Airport data identifies a number of international flights adding a major factor in traveling passengers growth by 73% increase. Therein direct domestic flights from OAK Airport will commence during July 2018 to San Antonio, Orlando, Minneapolis/St. Paul, and Indianapolis.
