The public transit systems in San Francisco Bay Area are looking at getting Wi-Fi on transit trains and buses for passengers. Because other public transit systems don't have Wi-Fi onboard and BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) is negotiating with a contracting vendor to install Wi-Fi at its 46 local stations. Including its 775 new BART cars and hoping to have a deal solidified during this Summer season, and Caltrain will have Wi-Fi systems in electrified trains in 2022. The Caltrain new electric transit trains will have Wi-Fi systems as planned and hoping to get federal funding for fleet replacement within four years. The VTA railway trains have Wi-Fi, AC Transit have Wi-Fi on transbay buses, SMART transit in Sonoma/Marin have it on railway trains, and SFMTA muni buses have no Wi-Fi systems.
"People have requested us to get it and we need it especially with new electric railway cars - the Wi-Fi system is our top priority," said Tasha Bartholomew, Caltrain Spokesperson. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
