The twin peaks tunnel in San Francisco will be closed during summertime for railway tracks repairing and replace the drainage system. The tunnel construction will impact muni commuters along Forest Hill and West Portal stations because of therein project closures. The twin peaks tunnel construction crew temporarily removed parking on the east and west sides of the tunnel. The SFMTA (San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency) administration is offering options for muni commuters to consider within local areas. Another recommendation from SFMTA is for muni commuters to take BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) at Balboa Park if commuting to San Francisco downtown. Some of the muni lines within impacted areas will run shortened bus routes and muni commuters can transfer for free BART oneway rides.
"The twin peaks tunnel is old and needs repairs for a long time and upgrade the tracks, and hopefully it will help get the improved railway back in shape," said Ken Anderson, local commuter in San Francisco. #EliteLimousine driver's background is lawfully checked and cleared to operate passenger transporting vehicles, and all fleet vehicles are always cleaned with eco-cleaning solutions without toxin, to keep car interiors environmentally safe and healthy for passengers.
